Bobbye Records, MS, CCC/SLP, BCBA

Bobbye Records has over 35 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorders, communication disorders, and intellectual delay and disorder. Undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech Pathology from the University of Texas at Austin (BS) and the University of North Texas (MS) laid the foundation for a career devoted to improving the lives of her clients. She achieved the Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential through coursework at the University of North Texas.

While working in the public schools, she supervised the speech-language pathologist, Deaf Education, Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities and Extended Year services. Bobbye Records has maintained an active private practice and has consulted throughout the state with school districts to improve services for students with autism and severe disabilities.

A leader in development of innovative staff training, she targeted a broad scope of special education needs. Ms. Records has crafted over 150 unique training modules to address effective practices. Ms. Records is sought as a professional lecturer at the local, state, and national level. She has provided independent assessment and testimony for mediation and due process hearings. She has completed forensic case analysis and is considered an expert witness in the areas of speech-language, developmental delay, and autism.

In 2005 she established PineCone Therapies, a private speech therapy and ABA/VB therapy company, to provide consultation, training, and direct services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and severe disabilities in classroom, therapy, and private facilities, and to train families and service providers to insure quality programming.

Ms. Records is the Director of Program Development for Champion Services, Inc., a Home and Community Based Services (HCS) program that provides services for adults to be fully integrated into the community through therapeutic methods.




Linnea Johnstone, B.A., Behavior Therapist

Linnea received her B.A. in Liberal studies with a minor in English from Portland State University. Linnea is currently pursuing her master’s in Special Education, BCaBA, and SLP-A licensures at the University of North Texas. She has experience working with both adults and children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities in the home and center setting.




Kaitlyn White, B.A., SLP-A

Kaitlyn received her B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in psychology from the University of North Texas. Kaitlyn currently holds a SLP-A license and is pursuing a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working with both adults and children, treating a wide variety of speech and language disorders.




Jasmine Van Noy, B.A., Behavior Therapist & Office Management

Jasmine received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. She has experience working with children with autism and other related developmental disabilities in an early childhood education setting. Jasmine also has previous healthcare administration experience in a wide variety of departments, including pediatrics and audiology. She is enrolled in BCaBA graduate classes and wants to pursue her master’s degree in psychology.

Dr. Michele Harmon, Ph.D.

Dr. Michele Harmon is a public school educator, a university professor, and an educational consultant. She has been a special educator for over 20 years, working in both Texas and New Mexico. Dr. Harmon is an expert in autism, emotional disturbance, dyslexia, inclusion, response to intervention, school finance as it pertains to funding special populations, and state and national accountability systems.

As a special education director in two districts in Texas with populations greater than 22,000 students, she improved accountability ratings so they were in line with state and federal requirements, while reducing overall local expenditures.

Dr. Harmon teaches graduate students in the areas of school and district finance, school law, special education law, and exceptionality. Furthermore, Dr. Harmon has participated in multiple program evaluations pertaining to early childhood and special programs, specifically identifying best practices, improving federal and state accountability ratings, reducing financial expenditures, and improving academic results. She has presented at international, national, and state conferences including the International Dyslexia Association, the Education Law Association, the American Education Finance Association, and the Texas Council of Administrators of Special Education.

Dr. Harmon has her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Secondary Education, her master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston in Exceptionality, and her doctorate from the University of Houston in Houston in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies, with a concentration in School Finance. Her educational certifications include Superintendent, Principal, Supervisor, Educational Diagnostician, Autism and Emotional Disturbance, Special Education, Social Studies Composite, and History. Dr. Harmon is a native Texan, having lived in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Midland, Texas
